On May 30, 2018 teachers Lidija Bilbiloska and Drita Jakupi organized the daily intercultural activity in the spirit of birthday celebrations and marking the successful end of the intercultural activities for this school year. The goals and tasks of the activities were: encouraging positive mood in the group as well as strengthening interaction among children; highlighting the importance and significance of birthdays in every child’s life, but also in every family; learning more about the use of cultural and social phrases in both languages while congratulating birthdays; learning birthday songs in Macedonian and Albanian language; enriching the active vocabulary of children with new words in both languages such as: birthday, celebration, cake, gift, birthday wish, etc. At the end of the activity the students were awarded diplomas for successful participation in NMIE activities during school year 2017/18.
