Nansen Model for Intercultural Education

The recipes of our grandmothers

On April 13 and 20, 2018, teachers Tijana Baјraktarska and Hurmet Ala realized the activity “From my grandmother’s table” in order to introduce the students to the most common specialties that are part of the traditions of their families and which are passed on to generations.

Students had the task to serve a lunch table with distinctive traditional dishes. Each group prepares a different table (table cloth, napkins, plates, forks, cups). The children actively participated in the activities while cooperating in preparing and decorating the table. They enjoyed tasting the wonderful dishes prepared by their grandmothers,” T.
